UNDERSTANDING SNAPSNAPSNAP’S QUALITY MODES: A SNAPSHOT OVERVIEW

Our app SnapSnapSnap is designed for on-the-go photography, taking professional-quality real estate photos on an iPhone. It has three capture modes to suit different requirements, empowering users to capture stunning property images effortlessly.

By understanding the unique features and advantages of each mode, you will be well-equipped to take your property photography skills to new heights and present properties in the best possible light.

SnapSnapSnap is Built for Real Estate Photography

The secret to SnapSnapSnap’s magic is its ability to enhance the iPhone’s standard camera with similar techniques and settings that a professional photographer would typically use.

What technique is that? It’s called HDR Bracketing. HDR bracketing in real estate photography involves taking multiple photos of the same scene at different exposure levels to capture a wider range of details, resulting in well-lit and visually appealing property images.

HDR Bracketing is a must-do for anyone trying to achieve the highest quality real estate photos possible, and we’ve incorporated it into SnapSnapSnap. It’s usually a somewhat complicated photography technique that we have made simple by automating the process for SnapSnapSnap users. It involves capturing the shot at different exposures, which our editors then blend together.

The result? Sharp, striking, and beautifully balanced images. This technique captures incredible detailing of a property without sacrificing anything.

Which Mode Should I Choose?

Keep reading to learn which mode is best for your real estate photography needs and goals. The difference between them is noticeable, so it’s important to understand how these modes compare, particularly when you need your images to really stand out.

Pro Capture Mode

As the name suggests, Pro Capture Mode is designed for those seeking the utmost quality and precision in their property photographs. This is the mode that will get your photos looking as professional and eye-catching as possible.

Pro Capture Mode uses HDR bracketing and takes multiple exposures, which are then blended together to produce a perfectly balanced final image. This method ensures that the resulting photo showcases the property's features as close as possible close to how the human eye would see them.

It takes around 8 seconds to capture an image in this mode, and a tripod is essential. Also, keep in mind that this mode consumes a higher amount of data – approximately 20MB – for each photo upload.

Balanced Capture Mode

For those who prioritize image quality but may not always have access to a tripod, Balanced Capture Mode is an excellent choice.

Similar to Pro Capture Mode, the app takes several exposures of the scene, blending them to create a final image that is nicely balanced in terms of highlights and shadows.

With a capture time of around 5 seconds, it’s important not to disturb the phone while it is taking the photo, so using a tripod is highly recommended. It also requires less data than Pro Capture Mode – approximately 15MB per photo upload.

Quick Capture Mode

Quick Capture Mode is ideal for on-the-go photography. It doesn’t require the use of a tripod, as it captures photos quickly with only a single exposure.

While Quick Capture Mode is ideal for photos needed in a hurry, it does not fully utilize the complete capabilities of SnapSnapSnap. It takes 2 seconds to capture a shot and uses less data per photo upload.

For top-quality images that are sharp, clear, and beautifully balanced, we highly recommend opting for either Pro Capture or Balanced Capture Mode.
